"ਸਾਡਾ ਹੱਕ !"
"ਓਏ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਹੱਕ ?"
"ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਜਮਹੂਰੀ ਹੱਕ !"
"ਉਏ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਹੱਕ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੈਂ ਭੜੂਆ ? ਇਹ ਹੱਕ ਸੰਨ ਸੰਤਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ; ਯਾਦਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਹਵਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛਿਹਾਠ ਤੇ ਸੱਤਰਵਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਨੱਬੇ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ; ਤੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲਣ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ, ਰੱਖ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਬੰਦ, ਜੇ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਜੋਗਾ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਈ !"
