It is always advisable to just cut down with ones who don't know how to use civilized language while in a discussion.
A discussion is only a tool when both parties agree that they couldn't simply agree on most of the issues being individuals with independent viewpoints but still have the faith in mutual sharing of ideas along with listening to the opposition with patience and responding calmly and on the ground of logic.
As soon as a discussion gives an indication that it’s entering in the domain of uncivilized language, illogical arguments, abusive allegations, it’s an indication for the one with the intellect to simply plug-out.
It’s always an option in the life to cut-off with ones with such tendencies, rather than listening to (and bearing) the irrelevant and wasting our positive energies on being our toes to answer them, being defensive or otherwise.
